The New Testament Challenge
The New Testament is the book that has most changed the world in the past 2000 years, and yet, most people have never read it.Consider the following statistics on biblical literacy:
- Only 40% of Americans know that Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount.1
- Fewer than half of American adults can name all four Gospels.1
- 93% of all households own one or more Bible,
but only 12% read them every day,
and 57% do not read the Bible at all during a typical week.1
Join Lakeview Chapel and take The New Testament Challenge. Between January 23 and April 17 we will be reading through the New Testament together.
The New Testament Challenge has three components:
- Read through the New Testament in 12 weeks by reading 2-4 chapters a day.
- Join a small group that meet weekly to discuss the daily readings.
- Sunday AM services with sermons about the major themes of the New Testament.
Join us beginning January 23, 11AM.

James 3:17-18
“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.”
