Ministries

Children have a place at Lakeview Chapel. They are special to Jesus and they are special to us. Our goal at Lakeview is to do everything possible to make the programs and activities we offer for children the best. We want every child who walks (or runs) through our doors to leave knowing that God made them and that He loves them and has a wonderful plan for their lives through Jesus Christ.

Throughout the year we provide a variety of age appropriate opportunities for children to learn about Jesus whether they are visiting, attending regularly with their parents or grandparents, or coming from our surrounding community.

Junior Church

During the Sunday Morning Worship service

Our intention is to allow the children to sing and praise God in the Worship Service and then to provide a more age appropriate setting for the younger child to learn biblical principles for their lives. Children’s programs are provided on Sunday mornings during the sermon time.

  • Pre-K (3 years old – 3rd grade)
  • Elementary (through 5th grade)

Nursery

Provided during Morning Worship service
A nursery is provided for infants up to 3 years of age. Nursery workers are screened and must meet certain age and ability standards. Certain youth are allowed to help in the nursery provided they complete the “Red Cross Babysitter’s Course” and provided they are approved by the Christian Education Committee.

Kids’ Zone

2nd Wednesday of each month from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday evenings are hopping, popping, and teeming with children during the school year (September through May). The program centers around the Orange curriculum which incorporates small group activities with large group worship, fun and Bible story time.
